WHAT: A short series of drop-in community drawing sessions

WHEN: 10am – 12pm, Fridays

Draw a Garden: Bring Floriade to Woden is 30 days of beauty, colour and vibrancy in the suburbs of Woden.

Members of the community are invited to draw a flower in black and white, then have them upscaled and converted into a colourful vinyl window display at Lovett Tower in Woden Town Square. 

By the end of the community drawing sessions, Lovett Tower windows will become a colourful garden of hand drawn flowers made by the community and for everyone to enjoy.

Community Drawing Sessions: 

  • Friday 8 September, 10am -12pm, Farrer Shops (outside the IGA) with Yamile Tafur Rios 
  • Friday 15 September, 10am – 12pm, Chifley shops (near A Bite to Eat) with Yamile Tafur Rios 
  • Friday 22 Sept, 10am – 12pm, Mawson shops (in the Sky Plaza area) with Yamile Tafur Rios 
  • Saturday 7 October, 11am – 1pm at Lovett Tower (Woden Town Square) with Woden Artist in Residence Jacqueline Bogusz.
